............................................................................................................................

Chapain : Welcome to Nepal Master, how you are feeling?
Master Mencia :
Thank you very much. Off Course very happy. I always feel Nepal                           as my second home. Very nice to meet all of you here in second time.

Chapain : You are the master of taekwondo, medical doctor and psychologist also,                  what is the secret of this great success?
Master Mencia : I am still learning; I am not perfect. But whatever I have achieved till                           now, all this is because of taekwondo. Taekwondo ethics are not only                           applicable for the taekwondo professionals but more, it applied in the                           real human life, I mean every aspect of life. It is taekwondo which                           gives me the real guidelines.

Chapain : How you define Taekwondo?
Master Mencia :Taekwondo is a Korean Martial Art. Tae means below the hips,                           Kwon means above the hips and Do means the use of brain. So,                           simply it is the martial art style which uses the physical bodies for                          self defense and brain to use them properly. Taekwondo is the                           combination of good movement of body and the control from brain.                           That means you need both the physical and mental power to be a real                            taekwondo player.

Chapain : How you prepare the proper taekwondo player?
Master Mencia : Taekwondo is a very integrated and complete martial art. We teach all                           the self defense, spirit and development of mind through meditation.                           We believe in the development of spiritual mind through the high level                           exercise in both physically and mentally.

Chapain : How many countries you have visited till now for training?
Master Mencia : Almost 40 countries.

Master Mencia :

You have mostly visited the African Countries? Why you are giving high priority to Africa?
This is fantastic question. Actually I am also a doctor, so for the developing countries sports is the most important factor to reduce the index of sick people. Due to the poverty and other economical aspects, they need the support. "Sports and Health" this is my main mission for the developing and underdeveloped countries.

Chapain :
Master Mencia :

Are the African players progressing well?
Yes, definitely. They have the good physical strength and they are very powerful. In my every visit, I have been trying to strength them mentally also. The best thing that they have is the willingness to play and understand taekwondo. The future of African Players is very bright.

Master Ho
:

Now, Nepal International Taekwondo Federation got recognition from the government. How the international arena is looking this?
This is a very good progress and that really set the good example for all the international ITF bodies. IF you do hard work, definitely you will be rewarded. The International arena is taking this as the reward of the hard working of entire Nepal ITF Family. Now, it is very easy for them (Nepal ITF members) to communicate with all the international bodies, they can get more chances to take training and participation in different countries. This is really a good achievement of hard working.

What about the progress of ITF in USA?
In USA, we are doing very well. We have now dozangs in different ten states and we are doing hard work to expand it in more states. Instructors from different countries are there, who are also guiding the USA Taekwondo Players. In short, I am satisfied.

  Chapain :
Master Mencia :

Now please tell me in short, why to play taekwondo?
Taekwondo must have to be practiced to get the success in every aspect of life. No matter, in which direction you are going on, the ethics and principals of taekwondo will carry you in the right destination.

Master Mencia :

How one player can strength his performance in taekwondo?
To increase the performance, one must have to gain the knowledge of the complete art. I mostly concentrate in this chapter very much in my class. I am here in Nepal to teach the knowledge of taekwondo. One player must have to understand that Taekwondo is not only pure sports but more, it is sports education.

  Chapain :
Master Mencia :

At last, What the basic thing that one player must have in Taekwondo?
The willingness to learn something more is the most important thing that muse have in one player. Discipline, meditation and daily exercises are the other necessary elements.
